We are two Nurse Practitioners who are trained and certified in providing high-quality, affordable aesthetic procedures, in collaboration with a physician for oversight and guidance. Dr. Himmelstein is a board certified physician with more than 15 years of experience in medical aesthetics as well as advanced technologies and techniques. He has studied with many leading physicians in the field of aesthetics and is always learning and educating himself on the latest techniques. He is highly acknowledged by patients and peers for achieving extraordinary outcomes using aesthetic enhancements.

Injection Services
Neuromodulators
We offer Botox and Dysport which are prescription medications that are injected into muscles to improve the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and to prevent the formation of future wrinkles. The repeated muscle contractions from frowning and squinting over the years causes wrinkles to form. Neuromodulators help to relax the muscles forming these lines and wrinkles. The downtime for Botox is approximately 15 minutes and sometimes it is called a "lunch-time" procedure for that reason. What can you expect after the procedure: tiny raised bumps with some mild redness at injection site, similar to a mosquito bite, lasting typically 15 minutes. Pain is very minimal during injection, and a very small needle is used. Results last approximately 3 to 4 months.

Dermal Fillers
Dermal Fillers assist in decreasing wrinkles and restore volume and fullness of the face. Dermal Fillers can be used for enhancing shallow contours such as deep wrinkles and under eye bags, softening wrinkles and creases in the face, and enhancing the appearance of recessed scars. Downtime is minimal. Patients may experience some bruising and swelling that will resolve in a few days. Results can last up to 2 years, however, every client is different.

Lip Injections
Lip injections are a noninvasive cosmetic procedure that gives lips a more fuller, plumper appearance. Lip fillers contain hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is actually a naturally-occurring substance found in the body which helps to increase the volume and fullness in lips. Downtime for lip fillers is very minimal. Patients may experience some swelling and bruising lasting usually a day or two. Results last up to 12 months, depending on the client.

Chemical Peels
Chemical peels are effective solutions to common skin issues that include but are not limited to, hyperpigmentation, acne, scarring, and fine lines and wrinkles. They have been used for hundreds of years for both clinical and aesthetic purposes. VI Peel’s version of a chemical peel offers you a safer alternative to mechanical or physical exfoliation. VI Peels are less irritating and have a quicker recovery than traditional chemical peels.
